We had a not so convincing win against the Professionals. First set we blitzed them taking the set probobly in record time. Second set was pretty much the same as the first winning it convinsingly. In the third set how ever we seamed to be going all right but probly having a bit too much fun and let them take a set off us. we managed to start a fourth set but it ended up 11 all so it wont be counted.

So, today i dragged myself from bed a 2.30 pm. Hard life on a Saturday. I plan on going to the Loanstar for dinner and then to the movies to see either the Borne Altermatume or resident evil 3. I'm just waiting for Quicktime to download so I can preview the trailors and make a decision.

Of to the Jets game tomorrow, should be a good game against Wellington... Go the Jets.

Well it official, we really sucked last night... except for me. I put in 100% effort, just not in the first set. Did we win the 3rd? I don't know.

So camping was cool, Josh took some good pics and has also offered to help with my photography skills which is good becasue I don't know enough about my camera. Thanks to Josh I can now set my white balance correctly and select the best ISO speed.

another win for us up against Porn Stars. We started off really stong in the first set making everything count. Even though Porn Stars arn't a very stong team we still played at the level we would if we were playing the Blue Tongues. serving was spot on as well as the hitting. Second set i think we slakened off a bit with the intensity but still came up with the win, oh and i got a killer pancake up . Third set was a disaster. Kicked off the new Spring Comp with a very good 3 set win over Chalkies. This season could be our best chance for a while to at least make the finals and even go all the way as 3 of the top B grade teams have been moved up to A grade.

Poor serving in the First set almost cost us but our attack was too strong, when we did get serves in. Second set we completely blitz Chalkies making them frustrated. Bryan serving for about 10 points in a row and targeting weak players won us the 2nd set. ...

Always a good match playing against Blue Tongues which are usually favourite to win the comp. Unfortunately we lost 3-0. We only had 5 players on the court wich makes it hard when playing a team like the Blue Tongues who exploited the gaps in our defence every time. Most of there hard hitting couldnt be picked up let alone be blocked. We still played a good game sticking together to make them fight to win the last set. One day we will beat them. Good Game boys.

Battered Savs might not seem like the toughest team to play but they have a lot of talent, what they may lack in hitters they make up for in defense and comradery!

First Set - What an awesome set, unlike most games our serving was spot on, For a change calling was easily heard through the centre and the hustle was a spectacular! Because everyone was keen to play up at Taree (until i found out its only a mixed comp) we should think about playing in the State Cup when it comes to Newcastle again. Should be fun.

Let me know what you all think.

There is another excelent tourney in Canberra in November. See how we go in newcastle first but it would be cool to take our team down there.

Always eventfull against Redundo (A-Minus). Game started at 8pm when we thought it was 9pm so we were of to a good start . Bryan made his return to the team & Jason twisded his ankle in the second set. Apart from all that we played really good. Still got beat 2-0 but made them earn the win tonight, good game guys. Dan's serving was on fire as well as Matt's Blocking. Don't forget to vote each week for MVP
